Kaisereck was founded in Historic Granville Island by Roman in 1994. As a child Roman worked at his parent's restaurant in Friedberg Germany. When he and his family arrived in Canada, he secured this location in Granville Island and decided to continue his parent's work, naming his little deli Kaisereck. Roman and his friendly staff have been serving Granville Island and the local community delicious german food ever since.

With few German food traditions and a licensed patio, Kaisereck is home to German comfort food and beer.
